THis Times articles talks about a scientist that believes he has isolated the chemical in our brain that pushes us towards monogamy. The belief is that this discovery can lead to a true “love potion” at some point. My guess is that it won’t work until their ninth attempt. You know? Love Potion #9?
Also theorized is the idea of an “anti-love potion”.
