A new lawsuit filed in federal court accuses 20,000 people of illegally downloading and sharing movie content over the Internet.
The US Copyright Group, a collection of attorneys, IT consultants, and other legal minds, is pursuing copyright violation suits on behalf of the rights holders.
The next round would include an additional 30,000 file sharers. Targets are found through logs from BitTorrent sites and tracking torrent downloads to an IP address. ISPs will likely be subpoenaed for their records as well.
