Leonsis, Pollin estate reach agreement on price for Wizards & Verizon Center
Washington Capitals owner, Ted Leonsis, has reached a deal with Abe Pollin for his purchases of the NBA’s Washington Wizards and the Verizon Center.
This agreement clears the last of the hurdles Leonsis faced in his attempt to take ownership of the team and the facility. The Washington Capitals also call the Verizon Center “home”.
Approvals are needed by the NBA as well as regulatory agencies.
