Christmas ‘Miracle’ Mom and Baby ‘Dead’ in Labor, Revived
On Christmas Eve, an expectant mother was brought into the emergency room in labor. She suffered cardiac arrest during the delivery and the doctor was unable to revive her. They doctor said she had no pulse, heartbeat, and was turning gray. They performed an emergency C-section with no anesthesia in an attempt to save the baby and also found the baby non-responsive. In what is being hailed as a Christmas miracle, the woman’s pulse suddenly returned. They began surgery and while working on the mother, they were able to get the baby breathing again as well.(Via ABCnews.com.)
